Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0 - 2) at New England Patriots (2 - 0)
Sunday September 22nd at 1:00 PM EST
"According to a league source, Gronkowski is healthy enough to play, but the Patriots want to get him more practice time before suiting him up in a game," the Globe's Michael Whitmer wrote. "For that reason, the source said, the Patriots are leaning toward keeping Gronkowski out of Sunday's home game with the Buccaneers."
Looks like Gronk is out.
On a side note, T.O. wants to be a Pat

I'd take in Owens if he can still play 75 percent of his level.
Anyway, easy victory here in my mind. Tampa Bay is a mess of a team. I like schiano so it's a shame, but he is becoming that college coach stereotype in the NFL. As long as Brady's WR's don't drop 10/10, they'll win.
Only thing that scares me is Vincent Jackson. But put Talib on him, who's going to be aiming to get back at his old squad and it will be alright.
Int for Talib
TD for Blount .... you can put it on the board.

A WR I'd really enjoy that they worked out is David Nelson. He has talent, as shown by catching balls from Tebow and Fitzpatrick. Had a rough ACL injury though and was then cut by the browns. I wonder if Brady could work a little, used to play in the division now going to use you to light up the division magic.

Gronk listed as questionable, Amendola doubtful

Sit gronk. No need to rush.
I still can't believe how many times they have targeted their tight ends. Like 3 times in two games? That's insane, considering pre-gronk-Hernandez era, Brady would go to his TE a lot anyway.
Pound the rock this week, Ridley, Blount. Please.

Yeah, Finally. Dobson, #17, and Thompkins, #85. Rookies are "catching" on. (Pun intended.)

Notice both of Brady's interceptions have been when he's throwing to Sudfield.

First off- Wrong about thompkins, he showed up. Good to see Dobson with a comeback game too. Brady finally clicking with these guys, add Amendola and Gronk coming back = me excited about this team going forward. At least more than last week.
Can't say enough about this defense.
D-Line (nink with the contract extension, good for him), LB, and DB's all look good.
Keep it up defense!

love what I saw from Bolden.
Thompkins and Dobson will continually improve. Today was a great step forward.
With Gronk back next week- we will start to click in the redzone. While Sudfield has sucked- having two 6'7 cats along with Dobson's jump ball ability in the endzone has to be scary for a defense.

Hopefully it'll only get better from here. Defense played good but let's see what they can do when they're not playing two rookies and a third who plays like one.

Matt Ryan's going to be the challenge, for sure. Tons of weapons.
