Finished that game without 4 of our 5 best players (Wilfork, Gronk, Mayo, Talib), 7-8 of our projected starters (those 4 plus Amendola, Kelly, Connolly, week 1 starter Vereen), and the best special teamer in the game (Slater). Pretty sure Bolden was hurt too. And that doesn't even account for Hernandez.
A 5'9" backup slot receiver was running deep routes with double coverage with the game on the line (also while hurt).
If we were another team, they might even talk about that rather than saying we miss Welker, who is probably the only guy we *don't* miss right now.
Bottom line: Tom Brady is Football Jesus. No other team wins that game vs a Top 5ish club like the Saints.

That Was a hell of a game. That last minute, was something else, huh?
No Time-Outs, and we win it, by Touchdown, with only 5 seconds left.
Amazing!

And by Tom Brady standards, he played like crap. His accuracy is nowhere near what it has been and he has been under throwing wide open guys all year. When you can be 5-1 while having an off year with all these injuries..... you know you are special.
Welcome back Ex!
