At least Ridley is active.

"Ridley will be mixed in with LeGarrette Blount on early downs. CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora expects Ridley to see his first action in the second quarter. From there he'll reportedly be able to expand his role with effective runs and an ability to hold on to the football. "

For Christ sake how many injuries are gonna happen to this team. Hit straight on the knees and it doesn't look good.

I'm fairly confident that he no longer has an acl. Just a terrible year for this franchise as a whole from the **** drug dealer to injuries all over the field.

This team just knows how to **** win. Hard to hate the bunch.

Poor Gronk, is that a beginning of next season thing or are we going to have to go through the same thing over again as we did this season?

I'm thinking 6 to 9 months is pretty normal. So yeah we are probably right up against it again for the 14 season with Gronk. The good part is he's not what I would call a real shifty guy to begin with, so I don't think it effects him as much as it would other guys.

I think the Pats gotta draft a TE this draft though, right? Such a shame, Patriots walked on to a poorly kept island and found gold just a few years ago. Both of those guys would have been hall of famers without a doubt.

Oh I agree. Although I still think Gronk has a great career.

As for the draft this team needs another TE. I have no idea who is out there, but I want to see them go after the more athletic pass catching TE. This team also needs improved play from the offensive line (guard and center mostly) and a big hitting safety would be nice.

Sounds Good. We need to Beef up the Defensive, and Backups.

Wasn't that a pretty horrible tackle? I mean I don't understand american football that much, but the guy basically went in with his shoulder/helmet into Gronk's knee/s.. It seemed like an awful tackle with foul intentions behind it from my point of view..

Can any1 expand on that?
Good assessment:

Basically goodell banned all tackle attempts near the helmet because of the concussion issue. So players are retaliating by going low. I truly don't think most are trying to tear ACLs. Some are though.

Kicker in this case is gronk got a concussion as well.

Yea that really forces the players to go lower. And in this case it's a 5'10 guy trying to tackle someone 8 inches taller than he is. It's the NFLs fault more than anything. They don't want people going high because of concussions but look at what happens now. They go low and everyone tears an ACL.

Through thirteen games this season there were 40 players out with ACL injuries, now we can add Gronk and Mathieu to that list as well.
