We'll win this, but its going to be a rough one.
Hopefully the Jets don't target Gronk's knees. Idk how much more they can handle

Should be a definite win. Jets always have a way of pissing themselves.
Edit: Got class from 1-9 tomorrow so I'll try to redirect this a few times during that time

Great "Geoffrey P".
This should be a good game. We're on after only 4 days, and some severe injury woes.
I hate this short week thing. -- I think that Thursday Night Games should be played after a Bye week. We're playing the 12th, 16th and 26th, and our Bye week is on Nov 9th.
It should go 5th, Bye, 16th, 26th. That gives the teams two 1.5 week segments. Instead of that crazy 4 day turn around, and then a two week vacation.

BREAKING: Patriots Call Up Jonas Gray and Chris Barker From Practice SquadBy Richard Hill | Oct 16 2014, 3:29p
http://www.chatsports.com/new-england-p ... 2-10567671The Patriots are making some last minute roster updates prior to their Thursday game against the Jets. New England had been planning on placing the injured Jerod Mayo and Stevan Ridley on the injured reserve, ending their seasons, and had to make two corresponding roster moves.
The team is bringing up offensive guard Chris Barker and running back Jonas Gray from the practice squad.
Barker was cut during Week 1 of the season as the Patriots made room to sign special teamer Don Jones. Barker was subsequently added to the practice squad. He spent the 2013 season on the Patriots 53-man roster, which means the team thinks highly of him. He will provide depth while Bryan Stork and Dan Connolly recover from their concussions and Cameron Fleming fixes his fingers. Hopefully Barker won't see the field.

Ok, here's what I'm thinking.
As we all know, Brady is Jesus.
Jesus is the son of god, and, being thus a part of the holy trinity, Brady
is god.
Now, Thursday derives it's name from Old English Þūnresdæg, meaning "Thor's Day" [
1], Thor being the Norse god of, among other things, storms and lightning.
As I hear, the rain is already whipping around out there; Thor is restless, testy.
The way I see it, this isn't really a battle between the Patriots and Jets today - it's a battle between the son of god and Thor. Time for Brady to go out and settle that pretender down, and show him how to really sling some lightning bolts around.

Brady is Truth, SMTB, it goes beyond the divine. He is the moment, the second hand ticking, the silence and the everlasting noise of our collective spirit.
GO PATS!!!

Didn't Vereen just do what Ridley does for a celebration?

Any word on James White? Wonder why Gray is getting the nod over Vereen

I actually picked up Jonas Gray in our fantasy league. I've heard he's built like a lead back moreso than White or Bolden. Violent runner and all that jargon.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... -patriots/Rookie running back James White and wideout Aaron Dobson are healthy scratches for New England (4-2). With White out, Brandon Bolden, Shane Vereen and Jonas Gray are the Patriots’ three active backs. Gray was promoted from the practice squad earlier Thursday.
At wideout, the Patriots have Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Brandon LaFell, Matt Slater and Brian Tyms active.
The Patriots’ other inactives are cornerback Malcolm Butler (healthy scratch), offensive lineman Dan Connolly (concussion), safety Nate Ebner (finger), offensive tackle Cameron Fleming (finger) and center Bryan Stork (concussion).

I cringe every time Brady throws passes more than 15 yards. More often than not I swear it's a wasted down...

Does anyone else listen to F&M just to hear what Bedard has to say? He watches the full game and does this insane evaluation of players and counts how many times they've been blown by, pushed back, missed an assignment, etc.. Solder is consistently a bottom 3 and rightfully so.

Seguin with a hat trick the other night. Chia's gonna have to do something wild to win my trust back.

Seriously. They let Boychuk and Iginla go (granted he'd take a good chunk of money) who were part of their top 3/4 players on defense/offense and they get who? Simon freaking Gagne.
Also this team (Patriots) man... 160 yards and counting running
