ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Two six-win teams that faced each other this past January in the AFC Championship Game. In short, this is as good as it gets in the NFL regular season.

The 6-1 Broncos have the highest-scoring offense in the league to go with the league’s top rushing defense and Manning is tied for the league lead in touchdown passes with 22 in just seven games. Brady is coming off a five-touchdown game in the Patriots’ (6-2) romp over the Chicago Bears, Brady has won his last 41 regular-season home starts against AFC teams and the Broncos haven’t won in New England since 2006.

Sunday’s game will mark the 16th time that quarterbacks Tom Brady and Peyton Manning square off against each other, with Brady holding a 10-5 edge. According to Elias Sports Bureau research, this marks the first matchup in NFL history among opposing starting quarterbacks who had at least 150 career regular-season wins entering the game.

Elias also reports the 890 combined career passing touchdowns for Manning (513) and Brady (377) are the most combined career passing touchdowns for opposing starting quarterbacks in NFL history. The previous record was 818, held by Manning and Brady last season.

Revised already beat three times. And these refs freaking kill me with these calls. Whether its the right call or not it pisses me off that an opposing play bitches about it and THEN they throw a flag two minutes later.

Said it before and I'll say it again: Edelman is the soul of our team this year.

Edelman with that 99 speed across the field. Hell of a run.

So happy right now (because we're winning, that Welker hit looked nasty, hope he's alright)

I don't think that Belichick should challenge this. He was touched, before he went down.

The Broncos enjoy a huge home field advantage in that they play in a mile high altitude....

When they are forced to play games at sea level, they seem to really lose their edge....

Just my two cents....

The science says they should still have the advantage, that is the idea behind blood doping. But I think what might happen is that team's are little weaker when they play there because of the air and they don't run as hard or hit as hard. Demarius Thomas and Julius Thomas just look invincible in DEN guys just bounce off of them and they run away from everyone. But today more than at other times they looked like they don't like being touched and that the contact was sending them to the sidelines. The Pats were hitting today on both sides of the ball and I don't think the Broncos liked it very much.

It is nice to see that just smacking the crap out of somebody still has a place and is still effective in football.
