I was surprised with the Kelly Washington signing. But Sammy Morris seems like he will fit in well with the pats. He is no corey dillon, but we still have plenty of depth at that position, if marnoeys shoulder is healthy.

----Maroney----
----Morris----
----Evans----
----Faulk----

Kelley Washington's a big, physically talented receiver whose football IQ isn't that great, apparently. People have lauded over his upside since draft day though, so the Patriots probably gave him his de facto one year deal to see if he can stand out among the plethora of #2's on the roster this year, an opportunity he never really got with the Bengals for obvious reasons.

Sammy Morris has been a backup for the Bills and then the Phins for his career. Assuming nothing changes on draft day (I don't think anything will) he'll probably platoon with Faulk, Evans, and Patrick Pass while Maroney hopefully takes on more carries.

For a guy his size, Morris is an effective yardage-grinder; he

sammy morris is a pretty well rounded back who tends slightly towards the power game. he has pretty decent hands out of the backfield. not the power dillon has, but better overall at this point, especially as a second back

kelley washington is a guy who is still a sleeper to an extent. he is big, very athletic, and powerful. this is a guy who played minor league baseball after high school, before going to tennessee. he went to tennessee and blew up next to stallworth. didnt fare as well next year without the experience most guys had and without stallworth opposite, but was also injured. he was drafted mostly on potential, but made good on it early on until he got hurt and was eclipsed by chad johnson getting more balls and houshmandzadeh. he could range from great depth receiver to great number to receiver. its unlikely he becomes a number one, but still has a chance
