Who would you take at 24 and 28?
Aaron Ross at 24 and Micheal Griffin at 28
Their chemistry at texas could help in the future. Ross would make a good 3rd string corner and Griffin can learn from Rodney and when Rodney gets injured, Griffin can take over.

24 : Michael Griffin (unless Patrick Willis slides...)(or Reggie Nelson...Like Griffin better)
28 : Best CB available (unless all the deserving ones are gone)(Hall, Revis, Houston, McCauley, Ross in that order)
Other options would be Ben Grubbs, Justin Blalock, Brian Leonard, Joe Staley, David Harris, Jon Beason.

I would like the Pats to come out of the first round with Reggie Nelson and Lawrence Timmons. Other players I wouldn't mind at those spots:
Jon Beason
Michael Griffin
Brandon Meriweather
If I could have a player of need fall it would be Patrick Willis or Leon Hall.
Player I wouldn't be surprised to see them pick: Anthony Spencer

That would be a VERY good and solid draft and I too would be very happy with that... if Hall or Willis fell like you said that would be freaking great!
edit- Jarvis Moss would also be a great fit for us at OLB if he fell to us... another big if though...

well see who is available. thats what will determine it entirely. seeing as how they will go with value, it is impossible to guess at this point.
oh, and i would NEVER draft greg olsen. he may be the most overrated player ever. he wasnt the player kevin everett was at TE for miami, and didnt have a good year, but everyone is blinded by his combine numbers. i have never been impressed, and every scout i heard from listed him as a guy to be careful of as his stock would jump unrealistically after the combine.

Paul P wuold be a good pick.
We will not pick Aaron Ross-this guy will be a nickle back. He does not have the talent to cover number 1s. He just can't stay with them. another guy- i don't care what the combine speed is. watch his game speed.
i think his best use will be covering short zones either in nickle package or some type of cover 2 scheme.
I much prefer Merriweather over Nelson- although i would be happy with nelson.
Merriweather (if he can take care of his character issues) is a physical, wanting to hurt receivers, patriots type player.
I like Rice a lot, but I really doubt we pick a WR first round. i think we'll get somebody later on the draft to add depth

wilis obvious awesome. he's not falling.
Hall- i think will fall. and if he's there, i say keep on falling. combine speed 4.3 something. game speed 4.6 can't keep up with Jarret let alone Ginn Jr.
if we go CB, im praying Revis is there

I agree. I'd take Dave Thomas over Greg Olsen honestly. I doubt Belichick would take a tight end in the first round this year anyway.TheCelticTruth wrote:oh, and i would NEVER draft greg olsen. he may be the most overrated player ever. he wasnt the player kevin everett was at TE for miami, and didnt have a good year, but everyone is blinded by his combine numbers. i have never been impressed, and every scout i heard from listed him as a guy to be careful of as his stock would jump unrealistically after the combine.
