James is still a pretty good corner. I wouldn't expect him to start, but could be a nice guy off the bench.

he's lost a step. actually, make that two steps. he's old and slow but has the experience. okay signing in my opinion. he's not a good CB anymore because of his extreme slowness.

He's certainly an upgrade to what the Pats had at the nickel CB with Chad Scott and whatever else they had.

great depth signing, may not be a lotbetter than scott, scott was very good for us last year. im sure he will excel in the nickel role. (scott will move all over a bit more) the only big DB mistake the patshave made in years was duane starks, and james has been better the last few years. his durability and ballhawking, combined with our defense's awesomeness should make him just as effective as hes been.
