Hope it's for Moss. They probably would have said something already though.

Nope. The Patriots acquired the Raiders' third-round pick next year, and the Raiders seventh-round pick this year (211).

That's two firsts and two thirds. Stocking up for the 2008 draft. They must feel it's going to be a lot better than this one. Similar to what they did a couple of years ago.

Add that to out 95 6th rounders basically. Don't get that move.

Why, why bother trading the 3rd rounder for one next year. It's a friggen 3rd round pick. This is the most boring draft ever.

The Raiders are not going to be much better next year. They are not going to the playoffs. So you get a higher 3rd rounder next year, in a deeper draft. Same with the 49ers pick next year, they moved a late first for a mid first (at worst).

I think the niners could win their division next year. Call me crazy, I think they are an up and coming team.

We will see. I am not sold on Alex Smith yet.

They added Clements and Patrick Willis for the defense. Alex Smith will have another year under his belt. Vernon Davis should provide more big plays. They will win more games. I'm just not sure they overtake the Seahawks. Bubble playoff team IMO.

Don't worry Gentleman I've already prayed to the ACL gods that they strike down the California teams; both the Niners and Raiders are going to have a crazy sting of injuries... the whole offensive line is going to get spinal meningitis and turf toe ...giving us the first pick in the first round and the second pick in the third round.

:)
