The Patriots are interested in Keyshawn Johnson?

I was just watching sportscenter... and according to John Clayton, the Patriots are "at least thinking" about signing Keyshawn Johnson, who has mentioned N.E. as one of two (I forget the other) teams he wants to go to.

I'm intrigued. A Moss-Johnson starting WR combo is unmatched.

I've always liked Keyshawn, and any other time I would have loved for us to sign him. But we really don't need him.

Bill and Key get along real well. So I'm sure he has some interest in the guy. But with who the Pats have right now, I don't really understand it.

Now that would be fun to watch. A keyshawn/moss combo. But I dont think it will happen.

They are completely different players.

I hope they get Johnson, he'd be a exactly what the team needs if moving to a 3 WR base set (which I am convinced they are going to do); he'd be the big possession receiver a la Chris Carter when Minny ran the 3 WR set so effectively. He's a great blocker too, which is an underrated quality in WRs.
