Marquise Hill drowns in lake

Post#1 » by Celtics_Champs » Mon May 28, 2007 3:26 pm

Marquise Hill-DL-Patriots May. 28 - 9:50 am et

WWL in New Orleans reports a Coast Guard search has been issued for Patriots DE Marquise Hill on the south shore of Lake Pontchartrain.

The Coast Guard sent out a boat and helicopter to look for Hill, who is believed to have fallen off his jet ski Sunday night along with a female companion. "A good Samaritan on the bank heard yells for help," a Coast Guard officer says. "They found a woman clinging onto a piling near the shore." Hill is said to have disappeared into the darkness at around 9PM.

Very sad news. Hopefully he is found.

RIP Marquise Hill

Oh my God... I don't really know what to say, I can only pray that he is found, this is never anything you want to see happen with anyone...

RIP Marquise Hill. Not only was a he a good football player, but a good humanitarian who did lots of charity work. Very sad to see him go that young.

Thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family, just a real strange event in general.

R.I.P Hill

thanks for all you done in the world, from helping victims from Katrina to being a all around good player for the Pats.

You will be missed. :noway:

R.I.P Hill

My prayers go out to his family and friends. Some may or may not remember him during his LSU days and/or Patriot career. However that is just fine cause Football is just a game and it sounds like he made more out of his life then just play Football.

Wow, this is a local lake, I can't believe this is the first I am hearing of this. How tragic.

Rest in Peace.
