Dude's a serious baller and has a ton of heart. He's absolutely perfect for this team and i hope he stays for years and years to come and i love how he scampers around and causes guys to miss. He's so quick and smart after the catch! He's my boy for life. I think i like him even more than Moss this year (which is saying alot). I think out of all the pats, i want his jersey.
The dude has:
38 receptions, 388 yards and 3 touchdowns this year. Tied for 5th in the league for receptions!!
He's on pace for around 90 receptions, 1000 yards and 8 touchdowns.
Would wes welker have a shot at making the pro bowl this year?
Really, if wes welker gets 1000 yards recieving this year, i DEMAND he make the pro bowl. And how awesome would that be?

Totally. Dude has deceptive speed and is a gritty, almost Ecksteinian warrior.

My only issue with Welker is that he doesnt protect the ball well enough. I love the guy, hes my favorite out of the recievers, but everytime he tries for extra yardage im afraid hes going to fumble or get injured. Welker tends to get hit by three guys at once, and he only has one hand on the ball.

He's actually on a pace to catch 101 passes, could be one of the most productive slot receivers ever. No doubt if he comes close to that number he will be in the pro bowl.

If we could shrink Welker by three inches, he could take Eckstein in a gritathon.

he does look to the spectacular just a bit much that worries me in a belichickian fashion
all we need from wes is a little pass coverage in emergencies and we truly have our next troy brown

I've been really feeling Wes since last year and was very happy when we got him. This was a great pick-up and he is really making a name for himself out there. Keep it up Wes we appreciate you.

Welker just always seems to be open. I really like him as a punt returner too. He just seems to bounce off of guys.
