Ugh... this is probably gonna lead to Heath Evans getting a decent amount of carries.

Or maybe this

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports free agent Corey Dillon "is receptive" to the idea of returning to the Patriots.
Schefter says Dillon would be open to playing for a playoff bound franchise, and also lists Green Bay as a possible destination.

Dillon probably weighs 275 by now... you know he hasn't worked out a drop since the season ended.

I'd rather give Heath Evans carries. This sucks; I was looking forward to Maroney being completely rested for the playoffs and then the Patriots becoming the most dominant run team in football.

This is what happens when you try to give him the nickname "The Cat".

this does bother me b/c Maroney isn't capable of handling the full load, but i guess I'm still not worried b/c Faulk is a capable of getting a big workload and getting more carries

Sammy Morris really was the best back that the Pats were putting out there, so it will hurt. Maroney really needs to pick up his play because he's really just not getting the job done.

If Maroney is right, Evans and Faulk should be fine as the backup running backs. I really don't see a need to bring in Corey.

Problem with Faulk is the more touches he gets, the more likely is to fumble, although over the past two years he has really cut down on the fumbles
