Official Non-Pats Playoffs Thread

Post#1 » by Basketball Jesus » Wed Jan 2, 2008 4:18 pm

This weekend kicks off the playoffs with the Pats on the bye, yet we got some very tough and interesting games on tap:

The Washington Redskins head to Seattle Saturday to face the Seahawks (NBC; 4:30)

The Jacksonville Jaguars heads to Pittsburgh in a Saturday night game against the Steelers (NBC; 8:00)

Sunday, the NY Giants head to Tampa (FOX; 1:00)

Tennessee Titans are in San Diego to face the Chargers (NBC; 4:30)

Put all non-Pats playoff discussion here.

When your team is 17-0, there isn't much about other teams to get excited about :D

Good to see the Colts lose today. It makes the Pats road easier, but more satisfying is having all those Colts fans shut up about how WE will lose in the playoffs.

Yeah, our road to perfection just got a whole lot easier thanks to the Chargers. Let's not get cocky though. That Chargers team will be bloodthirsty for revenge. Fortunately we match up quite well with them and they are a bit banged up.

That was an extremelly physical game, which is what most people thought the Pats/Jags game would be like. Even if LT and Rivers are good to go, Im not 100% convinced that Rivers can get it done if we shut down LT.

I'm not convinced we can shut down LT, even if I'm convinced we should win.

Anyways, I was kinda looking forward to a chance to embarass the Colts and avenge last year's loss. I think we intentonally held back some tactics in the regular season victory, and I think Belichik would have found a new way to get to Manning. Oh well.

Would Patriots fans boo 13 year old children?

Yes. And they'd do it with gusto!

Terrible... and as someone who really, truly hates the Patriots, big time props to Kraft for getting the kid involved in another aspect of the game... classy move by Kraft, and Indy fans shouldn't feel too proud of themselves...
