So, does this mean no to Ty Law? Man, if Law, and Troy Brown both go to the jets, it is going to make me sick. I mean, I am not saying we need them, I would just hate to see them end their careers in green.

I don't know much about bryant. Nothing at all actually. I hope he does well.

i would also hate that. troy more so, i think i would throw up or cry or both. theres not many players i have such a strong emotional attachment to, but troy is there with Pierce, Brady, Bruschi.

i like bryant but i dont love him, hes more solid than ellis, but ellis has higher ups and lower downs. if we could add law i would feel like we had a stronger three corners than last year because law will always do well in this system until he actually breaks down, and i think bryant is better than gay. i dont know what the cap room looks like exactly, but with those three we could avoid having to rush a rookie into starting

I can't believe we got him; I'm so excited... I was afraid we were going to reach for a DB in the first or second round. Now we have 3 maybe 4 decent corners with Bryant, Webster, Hobbs and Sanders. Merriweather can play spot corner and we have Michael Richardson who we took in the 6th round last year who sat out. I bet we do ending up drafting a corner but not before 2nd or 3rd round.

i wouldnt call myself excited, but i am relieved. bryant, a patch at worst, is a decent corner, even better if he somehow doesnt have to be the no. 1. this puts less pressure on hobbs, but im not sure hobbs can step up and be the 1. however, there were games where hobbs was better than asante.

since its a deep corner draft, im almost sure we take one in the second, that is unless they feel a guy is really worth the 7. at least we know it wont be a forced pick now, thats the key. if they feel DRC can be a star (i feel out of the top corners he has the most upside, and his talent/athleticism mirrors his cousin) he could be the pick.
