Record minus Brady

This thread is going on the premise Tom's out for the year. Well damnit, he is, how many game do you think we'll win?
My guess(with blue and silver glasses planted firmly on) is 12. I think this team is too good at eating this type of situation up. I expect to see Tom Brady circa 01-03 out there the rest of the way. except this time instead of Patten, Brown etc it's Moss, Welker etc.
and this seasons Sammy Morris nickname? S'Mo

We won’t win any as RealGM doesn’t have a professional football team. The Patriots, however, should still win 10-11 games. They have a terribly easy schedule, a coaching staff that is renowned for being to change their game plan to minimize their deficiencies, a great offense, and a very good defense. Oh, and the AFC East is easier than a BC freshman after two wine coolers.

Predictions with cassell...
@ New York Jets Win
vs. Miami Dolphins Win
Bye Week
@ San Francisco 49ers Win
@ San Diego Chargers Loss
vs. Denver Broncos Win
vs. St. Louis Rams Win
@ Indianapolis Colts Loss
vs. Buffalo Bills Win
vs. New York Jets Win
@ Miami Dolphins Win
vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Loss
@ Seattle Seahawks Loss
@ Oakland Raiders Loss
vs. Arizona Cardinals Win
@ Buffalo Bills Loss
10-6, optimistic, yes, but we have an really easy schedule. A little rough stretch of road games there. Seahawks and raiders, and buffalo have both talent and the home field to rattle cassell.

The Seahawks are trash.

sorry, didnt mean to offend. yours had more of a whining, "oh no, its all over" vibe to it. 8-8? are you serious? I mean theres always the chance Cassel turns into preseason Cassel but I'd like to think Bill is a little more ahead of the curve with this team then we(the fans) are.

If Cassel is totally useless: 8-8.
If Cassel is bad, but somewhat capable (i.e. what you'd expect a back-up to be): 10-6.
If Cassel is average: 12-4.
For what it's worth I'm expecting Cassel to be OK, a little worse than average. So my best guess is 11-5.

The Patriots face four teams that have any hope of being any good. The Colts, the Broncos, the Chargers and the Steelers.
12-13 wins shouldn't be a problem. Cassel is going to be pretty decent with this receiving corps and this running back group. He'll have to do considerably less than just about any QB in the league.
