The globe has a nice article on BB. And how hard he is running this years camp, compared to years past. Can ya believe it's been a decade with him already?

I don't know too much about this years bengals. But HBO is doing Hard Knocks on them, I will probably do a marathon of that on Demand before this game starts up. I suggest you check it out as well. Hard Knocks is usually well done, even if it is the bengals.

It was kind of, well definitely, a rough game to watch. Not much stuck out from either the starters or the reserves.

The good:
-Fred Taylor (old) looks like Fred Taylor (prime). He was hitting those holes fast and powering through, there was no dancing.
-Sebastian Vollmer looked pretty good. Had one textbook pancake IIRC.

The bad:
-Laurence Maroney is still dancing before he gets back to the line of scrimmage. I don't get why the patriots FO are so high on him. They say his injuries were the reasons of the last couple years. But lets be honest, he was no AP before the injuries either.
-Terrance Wheatley just looked bad out there. Everyone in the stadium and watching on TV knew they were going to go at him with chris henry, and he couldn't step up. Darius Butler is looking good, and it would not surprise me if he jumps Wheatley on the Depth chart.

The meh:
-The starters were meh for me. The offense was alright. Brady had one good screen pass to welker, and that worked. So that is looking like it is back to normal. And he also got hit a few times. I held my breath when Keith Rivers came storming through the middle, untouched. The defense looked alright. The hyped up run game of benson was shot down as our core played good against their ground attack.

The ugly:
--Ben-Jarvis Green Ellis would have actually made the good list, but you have to hold on to that ball with the game on the line. Would have won it if he had not fumbled.

Ocho Cinco kicking the Extra Point and the kick off made me laugh though. On to the redskins where it will be a big game for earning your roster spot.
