It's not season threatening, according to BB. The rumor is he was going around the locker room telling teamates it wasn't that serious, but this type of injury usually takes about 6-8 weeks to recover. :(

edit: globe reports 6-8 weeks

I heard 8 weeks as worst case possible.

Yep just saw that on the globe. Well he'll miss half the season, but that's a helluva player to get back halfway through the year.

derrick brooks looks to have an offer from the pats but hes thinking about it. he said on espn pats are afc favorites... no reason he wouldn't come here unless we decided against it. Bears might have a shot at hi mtoo tho.

The d-Brooks situation is confusing. I dont know if the Bears simply retracted their offer or if the offer is still on the table and he is just mullin it over.

I'd love to see him in foxboro, the contract offer means both bruschi and seau are waiting till the second half to make a comeback.
