Besides the talked about McDaniels versus Belichick storyline, we have the RB story to watch for. I expect BJGE (above) to step up ahead of Maroney.

Should be a fun one, but tough. Invesco Field at Mile High is a hard place to win in.

Go Pats!

I think the Pats are going to put the Broncos in their place. I think this is going to get ugly. I look for Sammy Morris to have a big game. It's time to start flexing some of the offensive muscle.

Pats 31-13.

Welker is active. So is Mayo, nice to see that he's back.

Welker with the touchdown. Mayo with the forced fumble.

Soooo glad they're back.

I just wish they'd switch overtime to how they do it in college. Brady got no chance at redemption.

As for meriweather, the refs sucked balls on that call. He had the flag out before meriweather even did anything.

Yeah I hate this First Score wins crap...you basically have to pray for your team to win the coin toss, or else they pretty much lose...it sucks..our defense still got them to kick a 41 year field goal..I thought our D played GREAT...if they don't call that bull penalty on Meriweather, I doubt they would get a TD on us...

Tough loss, but it was a great game. The flag on Meriweather was a little bizarre, but it was clearly taunting. I imagine the ref might have been talked out of some sort of helmet-to-helmet call or something that clearly didn't happen, and they settled on taunting (say what you want, but it did happen).

Yeah you might be right on the helmet to helmet call. It was very bizarre tho.

As for the game, the Pats controlled the game. But found a way to give it back. Very frustrating loss.

My Three Stars of the Game

1. Sammy Morris- He ran the ball hard and I thought did a solid job all game.

2. Vince Wilfork- The Broncos had no chance running up the middle with the way big Vince played.

3. Jerrod Mayo- He looked a step slow, but it was great to see him out there. 6 tackles and a forced fumble.

My Three Duds of the game.

1. Randy Moss- I don't care that your covered by the best corner in football. If you want to be noticed as an elite receiver you need to make plays.

2. Leigh Bodden- Eddie Royal deserves your game check.

3. Tom Brady- Missed two tds, one to Moss early and one to Welker later. He needs to make those plays for this team to win. Plus a very bad job protecting the ball on the fumble, that's two weeks in a row for that.
