We need to do most of our additions through the draft. And no more of this trading back into the 2nd and 3rd rounds, please. I'd love to see them trade up and grab a good pass rusher, or cornerback, or even running back.

Combine starts feb 24th

With 3 2nd rounders, are ya ready for the tebow talk? :-?

At least they can focus on going best player available they need everything now, except a QB. I always want LB's and CB's.

Jonathan Dwyer sounds like the kind of RB they need.

Pats met with Zoltan Mesko today. A punter out of Michigan.

If we trade down I will be pretty pissed. Oher was taken with our original pick, and then Clay Matthews was taken with the second pick, which we traded out of. I would much rather have one of those guys than Patrick Chung or Ron Brace.

I want to take either Brandon Graham, Sergio Kindle or Sean Witherspoon with the first pick, either Brandon LaFell or Damien Williams with the second 2nd rounder, Arthur Jones (might be a reach)or Lamarr Houstan with the second 2nd and Mike Johnson with the third 2nd.

I'm on the Sergio Kindle bandwagon, I love this guy. I think he would be a huge add for the Pats.

Some notes

-Pats met with Golden Tate
Can't say that would bother me, but like you guys said, getting an end, or a lb, like graham or kindle would probably be the best at 22. We have three second round picks to get a guy like tate. The only RB or WR I'd want if he fell to 22 would be CJ Spiller. I'd love that kid.

-Tim Tebow
"I feel like I have a good relationship with Coach Belichick. He was a very close friend of Coach [Urban] Meyer’s so I feel like I knew him in college. He came and spoke to us quite a few times. I got to know him through that and I respect him as a coach and as a person. He just does a great job.”

When I heard this rumor before and laughed it off. But things are starting to come together to make some sense. I don't know, I could see BB using his last 2nd rounder on him. But I don't think he'll last that long.

-Pats plan on meeting with Jonathan Dwyer

-Pats scouts met with Ricky Sapp and talked 3-4 with him

I hate this Thursday night draft time. I'll have to work. Though, last time I had to work during a draft we took mayo, and that worked out well, so maybe we'll have good luck.

Prediction:
Pats stay and take Gresham
or
Pats trade down with houston 2 spots, and take Dez Bryant

I could also see the pats taking Joe Haden or Jared Odrick.

I don't see the pats trading out of the first round again.

[/predictions sure to go wrong]

Is there really a shot of Bryant lasting till 22?

I really would like to see them trade up and get the best wide out and pass rusher they can, hoping for a either Bryant or Tate with Griffen from USC.

While not a huge need Taylor Mays of USC if he falls that far in the draft is kind of like Wolfork a couple of years ago value wise, this team still rolls some scrubs out there in the secondary.

I have three guys that I would love to see the Pats get in the first round.

Sergio Kindle is still my number one guy. He's a difference maker at the OLB, great speed and can rush the passer. He would fill a huge need for the team.

Jared Odrick would be my number two guy. He also fills a hole, the guy has a non stop motor.

Kyle Wilson is number three. He is the best corner in the draft bar none IMO. This guy will be a pro bowl corner for many years to come. Problem is he might not be around for the Pats pick.

Second round guys I would like include; Sean Lee ILB, Jahvid Best RB, Toby Gerhart RB, Damian Williams WR.

I haven't seen Kindle play and takes on him are all over the map, as far the best passer rusher in the draft to 3rd or 4th round pick who lacks the strength and toughness to be an every down linebacker. Is he just a pass rusher or do you think he is the kind of guy who can stop the run and drop back in coverage that versatile type guy is really missing? They can't even move on from Thomas because of it at least he does everything in a crappy sort of half assed way.

Like the idea of going corner back and just really don't want to trade out of the first or worse take another tight end.

Anyone know anything about the WR out of Illinois Arrelious Benn?

I'd be happy with Kindle.

I really will be pleased with whoever they take (Kindle, Bryant, Matthews, Odrick, etc..) except for Gresham. We don't need a tight end, when brady doesn't even use them.

If they trade out, I'm going to be pissed. With the draft the way it's set up, if the pats trade out of the first round, fans (and their draft parties) don't just have to wait an extra couple of hours. They have to wait a full 24 hours. Just stay and take a guy.

I wonder if we make a trade. Greg Olsen would look nice for a 2nd rounder.

I know the name, Sully. I just haven't heard much about him.

But I'd like the kid from cincy, his names escaping me right now, he's a WR who showed a lot during his bowl game.

There is a lot of buzz about Bryant and Kindle so that won't happen, some seem to think that Wilson will were be there when the Pats pick which seems a little crazy. Another thing is that BB doesn't seem to go for the Nittany Lions.

I would kind of like them to take a flyer on McFadden if the price is right.

Well if nobody your are going to pick is going to come off why not? Apparently he really wanted a 3rd rounder and he got it hopefully he gets his guy. There is certainly some ballers left on the board, I think we might remember passing on Bryant though. Don't think we would take Williams I want the corner Wilson.
