I love Dunta Robinson talk

This is just the kind of big ticket item I think the Patriots need. He is 27, top 10 draft talent, that has developed into a shutdown corner. There is only speculation connecting him to the Pats Bill apparently was a big fan of his in the draft. Obviously you can help your pass rush by getting better pass rushers or you can cut the field in half and force teams to go to their #2 option. I wasn't a fan of giving the money to Samuel who is excellent at picking off passes but the reason he gets so many is that teams just aren't afraid to throw at him. Players like Robinson don't usually slip into FA which is probably a flag that he has some issues but I really like his game and it is just a position that is worth spending dollars on.

Dunta Robinson is not a shutdown corner. But he would be an upgrade over Bodden, who would then in turn upgrade the no 2 corner spot from either Butler or Jonathan, would be a really nice move.
