Second in FG % and 39.5% from 3 and if you’ve watched the games he is not aggressively trying to be the star.

He’s been selectively taking offensive opportunities playing team ball and the Pacers are reigning him in with limited minutes.

Could he do more absolutely. I like this approach though running team offense and not letting him go crazy trying to do it all.

This will help so much regular season when he has to share touches between shooting options in scenario below.

Just imagine our offensive trips down the court Buddy drains an open 3, next trip Tyrese swings the ball to Mathurin swish, next possession Duarte drills a shot, next trip down fast break Tyrese lobs to Jackson for a slam, next trip down Tyrese hits a 3.

Pacers currently tied for best record at 2-1. In 6th place behind these 5 teams. Top 2 best records play for championship. First tiebreaker is + points scored vs given up.

In order to qualify they’ll have to thump the Wizards in their upcoming Friday contest. Will also help if all of the teams ahead of them lose. Will also need teams behind them at 2-1 to not blow out a team if they win and go to 3-1 to tie Pacers.

Pretty much a long shot to make it to the final. However players being shut down could affect squads making anything possible.

Memphis, NY, and Portland play their games Thursday. Pacers, Phoenix, and N. Orleans play their games Friday.
