Wiseman

The Warriors will be in cap hell after the 22-23 season, would the Pacers consider a trade of Wiseman for a middle first round pick? Currently on Tankathon, the Pacers has the Cavs 15th pick, and could use a center depending if Turner is traded.

Both Wiseman and Haliburton were in the same draft class.

Indy already is heavily invested in Isaiah Jackson and Jalen Smith as centers of the future, while Turner, Theis, and even Goga are all here too with differing levels of talent and potential. As is, right now, I don’t see Indy having interest unless the cost is basically Theis and our worst first? As in, so cheap it’s hard to say no.

But a near lotto pick, for another center? Most likely not. If Wiseman had shown anything to be near a potential franchise center like Ayton, maybe, but if you’re pitching potential, you should definitely shop him elsewhere. Indy is set and loaded there.

But also, with Wiseman’s current run thus far, and the potential in the 2023 draft right now, I’m not sure he’s worth a decent first. He may not return much of a first unless he blows up this year (but then GS will keep him). If he has a similar year to his last, or a just decent intro year, he’ll likely drop into seconds territory.

No. Wiseman doesn't have that value currently

If Warriors want to save money and trade him into cap space, then sure why not, he's worth a look

Warriors are better off hanging on to him for now and trying to cut salary elsewhere

I'd happily listen to an offer for Wiggins if Warriors thinks it's too expensive for them to keep him

Return to Indiana Pacers
