Hali too passive scoring
I noticed Hali doesn’t attempting too many shot. He is deferring to his teammates to score for them and they can’t win games with that approach. I’m not sure why his too passive and hesitant to score.
On his last 3 games, he had 12, 10, 6 attempt.
And if you look back on his last 9 games excluding the Lakers game. He only attempting 12 shot a game and his free throw rate isn’t good as well.

Yeah, i agree. He's slowed down in terms of taking over the game.
The big mystery this season for the Pacers has been the poor first quarter starts. Yet again tonight Pacers go down 16 early and have to crawl back. Part of the issue i think is Ty is very passive to start games to get everyone going and as we saw when he was out, the talent level there just isn't good.

He's a pass first point guard.

He can be a better passer if he can be a threat scoring.

It is interesting that we can see both sides of this idea with Haliburton and Mathurin. With Haliburton it is sometimes that we want him to be more aggressive shooting the ball, while with Mathurin, he could be harder to guard if he were a better and more willing passer.
You are right that players are harder to guard when the defense has to guard against both the pass and the shot capabilities.
I don't know. Maybe Hali is a bit tired or maybe he is just following the coach's instructions. I hope it isn't a case of the losing getting to him.

Butler is a very good defender. Don't read too much into one road game.

I don't know much at all about him, but I do remember seeing his name before in a context that was complimentary of him. I guess we'll see.
I do hope Goga can land somewhere that gives him a better shot at playing time,

But if you look on the last 3 games, he attempted 12, 10, 6.
And if you look on his game recently, he is not really looking to score.

Same thought with you. Don’t know if his tired, hard time due to defense, or coach’s instruction. But if you really see his games recently, he is not really looking and making effort to score.

there's some stuff out of place here but at least we don't have separate Nwora and Hill threads.

OK you. Go stand in a corner for the rest of the trade deadline. Then write 1000 times, I will not merge unrelated threads again.
Then send out for pizza for the rest of us.
