I think that is exactly my take away from this. I hope they are both in position this year that one will actually wow us, and it all becomes clear. Last year, both were built more like forwards, but neither actually, effectively played forward. As a result, both got pushed around a bit too much for either of them to really stand out. Optimistic for a better result this year. =]

I have to think that Stix is going to have a monster year. He did the team a solid by resigning with the team that saved him from his purgatory in Phoenix. He has a player option on next year. If he comes in earns the 20 minutes a night behind Myles, and some spot minutes at the 4. He can be a true FA, with no strings to anyone and a clear conscious, at 24. He has to be motivated for this year.

it's also possible that instead of one rising to the top, one will fall to the bottom. If we're really shooting for the playoffs, I can see Theis playing ahead of both of them though.

Yeah, it’s possible that neither plays and Theis gets essentially all the backup minutes, with Walker maybe even playing some small ball 5 alongside Toppin to get out and run.

I have to think, that if Theis becomes the path & they go full in on the playoffs this year & next, that one or both of Stix and/or I-Jacks will be given the opportunities to show out fairly early in the season, in an effort to increase their value & move them?
