What a fun ride. Now hopefully the Celtics can extend the series tonight so there isn't 3 days off between games in the ECF. Whoever it is, assuming the Knicks will have a short bench and the less rest in that series the better.

I think we're both better than last year. Atkinson admitted tonight that our pace wore them out and added no one should've been surprised because we wore the Knicks down last year.

You faced a very diminished Knicks team last year. Randle was out for the season. Mitch got injured by Embiid and missed most of the series. Brunson got hurt mid-way. We were maybe at 60% when we met in the playoffs last year.
Bill Clinton slept with an intern. A consenting adult and he got impeached and nearly disbarred as a result. Donald Trump went to parties showcasing underaged women brought in as basically prostitutes, and he says it's nothing.

Double standard?

Thanks and congrats to the Knicks in their soon to be close out of the Celtics. I think the Knicks also look better than last season. I wanted the Knicks because of the trouble we had with the Celtics last playoff season. Now we have it and it should be an interesting and intense series of hard fought games. May the best team win.

I wish I shared your good sportsmanship. I'm dreading the presumed upcoming series between NY and Indi.

Excellent video that I recommend all fans of the Pacers to take the 30 minutes to watch. Starts off slow but then they break down the numbers and accomplishments happening and it really helps you feel like we could be witnessing a championship team. Thanks Wizop !

Hoping you guys beat the Nuggets in an all-ABA final and become the 1st team to win championships in the ABA and NBA.

I'm very much looking forward to a rematch. Yes the Knicks were not 100% last season, but this Pacer team is better than the team from last year. It's gonna be a slug fest or maybe a track meet!! The Pacers will run and run and run and they have the deep bench to "run your legs off." Can the Knicks keep up? We'll find out! Woah Nelly it's gonna be a good one!

One little bit of trash talk, remember this?

hehe, I had to delete the reggie pic in my reply. It still feels like it happened yesterday.

I agree with everything you wrote. Your Pacers are clearly better than last year. The Knicks, a very different team. We added Mikal and KAT but we have no bench this year, so your depth will be a problem for us. I think you're team is better gelled while the Knicks have a lot of talent, but don't always use it to the fullest. The old saying, there's not enough ball to go around.

It's history, but one of the best trades the Pacers ever did was a trade that was disliked at the time. Detlef Schrempf for Derrick McKey. On paper, Schrempf was the better player, but McKey was the better defender and better team player and that move made your team better. You don't need a ton of offensive weapons, well, unless they can all shoot 3s like the Celtics, then it's kind of scary. But that trade made your team better. The Knicks did a move like that with Josh Hart, who's maybe our 5th best player but he's such a good team player.

That said, the 2025 Knicks haven't quite put it together. Sometimes they look great, sometimes they struggle and I don't even want to bring up the refs and how they can influence the outcome of games, which seems to happen too often these days.

So . . . I agree with you. This looks like a tough series and, fighting to make it to the finals. That's intense.

Once the games start, I'll stop posting here. Too much emotion. It would either be vinegar or gloating and neither is welcome, but until the series starts, I feel comfotable saying that you do have a great team and it should be a good series. It might be a great / legendary series. I'm starting to look forward to it.
