The student surpassed the teacher.

To me, tonight Granger showed me he is ready to take the next step.

He outplayed Artest, defended Artest, scored on Artest. He dominated Artest tonight. Great game to watch, sucks we came up with the loss, but unlike some others this one was fun to watch.

You have to consider that Artest is rusty and winded out thoughout the game... (Regardless, Granger is still a good player).

A couple of things out of this game:

1. Granger is our best player both offensively and defensively and really came through in the end of the game and got us close. He will learn from this. I think this game showed that he can be a realiable option at the end of the games
2. Rush has earned his starting job on the squad and I love his game recently
3. Tinsley showed more maturity by not chucking up silly shots and was setting up his players
4. Foster has the biggest heart in the world and is a true team player.
5. I really didn't like Obie's rotations tonight: Graham needed more minutes and Ike could have played
6. Kings are a good team (and all healthy) and we did well to come back the way we did especially without JO.
7. We had a real shot at this game and it is unfortunate we lost.
8. Mikey D didn't have the best of games but I can live with one bad game.
9. I know JO's value is low right now but we should really look to trade him once he comes back and gets a few games under his belt. He gets injured too often and I also don't see us making the playoffs so why not make a few moves to get some youth on the team

Anyone notice how weired a voice Artest has? I wasn't a fan when he was a Pacer, so I never listened to him.

Is just me, or you guys also thinks Foster should start over Murphy while JO is out?

We already have a lot of good shooters in the starting lineup, and Foster is a much better defender and rebounder than Murphy.

I don't see much reason to start Murphy. He is a bad defender, isn't a low post scorer, he shots well, but that's it. If we didn't have good shooters I could understand start him, but Rush, Mike D and Danny are pretty good shooters.

I'll download this game tomorrow to see if I'm talking stupid things or not

Why is Murphy starting ahead of Foster when Jermaine is out? With Dunleavy, we got a pretty good player, but Murphy IMO is a disappointment who couldn't defend a chair.
Foster gives us as many or more boards than Murphy, and much better defense. With Danny, Mike, Kareem, Quis, and Shawne we have enough scorers. We don't need Murphy's sometime offense nearly as much as we need Foster's D.

I think this is a serious mistake Obie is making.

Murphy's sometimes offense isn't even as good as Jeff's sometimes offense. Foster is shooting 51.4%, and even though he's only scoring 5.8 PPG as opposed to 10.3 by Murphy, Murphy's only shooting 41.9%. I'd rather sacrifice the 4.5 PPG for the hustle, especially because that most likely means we just get the points from someone else.

Jeff should definitely start. He could be the league's leading rebounder if he got 30+mpg. And Jamaal was spectacular tonight... 13 helpers, no TOs. That's the type of ball he should play every night.

Obie's rotations were bad, but what do you expect when you have all those injuries, a stupid suspension, and Mikki Moore killing us. I think Graham should've played more too, but we needed to try and slow Moore down, and I guess he thought Shawne had the best chance to do so (BTW, Shawne is not better than Danny, and I don't think he'll ever be close, to be honest.).

Well I like Jeff's hustle off the bench and Troy's chance to score off the bench,so I'd start Ike and go even smaller, unless were playing Yao,Shaq, or other big centers, but over all I think Ike can hold his own against other centers.

Mikki Moore hit us up for 20-12 was it? I like Ike, but IDK if he belongs here, especially if we do the NJ deal... He'd get destroyed by regular C-PFs... We need more guys like Foster or even Harrison (if they can lay off the stuff).
