Either way, it's good to see the Pacers contending with better teams. As long as they try to match it up, I don't care. Now that call on Travis Diener when Lebron jumps over him, that's a stupid call. I love these refs.

JOB goes with Diner at the end of a game, great move.

I guess the officials are cool with Lebron jumping on guys back for rebounds. If the Pacers were going to beat the Cavs tonight they would have had to be 15 points better to win by one.

Eh, good effort by the Pacers. I am amazed at how disciplined the Cavs are. Not one three second call or traveling violation while the Pacers were called for numerous ones tonight. What a well coached, well schooled team.....

I am also amazed at Larry Hughes defense. Despite being 4 inches shorter than Granger he somehow managed to block him while Granger went up for a dunk. What an outstanding defender...

Pacesetter thread is up...looks like a battle between Danny (mostly) and T-Murda.

Didn't see the game, but saw the boxscore. Pacers were called for 18 fouls, Cleveland for 20. What did you see that makes you think the refs were paid off. Was it because The Pacers were called more often while Cleveland was in the act of shooting? Just curious.

We are just a little upset about losing, something we do a lot lately.

IMO, there was no "fixing" but to some the refs are the easiest target when you get outplayed...

Injuries are killing the Pacers. When Tinsley and J.O. return, the wins will start coming again. Granger is awesome!

Every Pacers fast break our player got hacked, never a call. Then James jumped on Diener and Diener was called for the foul for being in James' way. I'm used to losing, I think refs have been fine this year aside from few games. But tonight was absolutely ridiculous.

What Granger said is 100% accurate. Also, the Pacers rely on movement and got called for three defensive 3 second calls, two of which were horrible. The Cavs, who have Z and Gooden, who never leave the paint don't get called at all. Also, the Pacers get called for a few travels and palms tonight, which were legit, but when Lebron cradles the ball for his drives the officials swallow their whistles. The refs decided this game.

Especially since Stern hates us and loves James.

I'm of the cloth that we lost the game ourselves tonight, and IMO blaming the refs is the first time that happens after a team loses a game - from both fans and players. "Fixing" notwithstanding, we lost the game.

How can you say Granger getting hacked and James over Diener with those 2 technicals didn't affect the game? Both were at crucial moments in the 4th.

Yeah, I think if the calls had occured earlier in the game it would have been ok, but the fact that they were within the final 5 minutes, it hurt our chances quite a bit.

I don't think it was really the refs fault, but those were some stupid calls. It happens I suppose, no ones perfect.
