Thanks for the insight. When I think about it, the draft pick question didn't really make too much sense unless you are gonna try and move a contract out with him.
I know the Hawks have a problem where we have a bunch of guys that most would consider "second bananas" - Johnson, Smith, Williams. Its really hard to get that number one guy. I think Smith could develop into one buy what do I know.
Good luck the rest of the season.
Rudy Gay better than Granger on ESPN

I knew I liked you...

With how young Yao is, I think the Rockets are in a "Compete for the next 7 years, win whenever we can" Mode right now. In fact, I'd argue that they'd rather win later, which would make missing out on Gay a mistake. We all knew about McGrady's injuries, and I think that he only has a couple of good years left as far as being The Guy for that team. Gay w/ Yao would be better for the next few years.
I, too, think Gay is superior offensively. He has much better handles, a better off-the-dribble shot, and could be one of those guys who puts up 25-30ppg when he puts it all together.
Right now, I'd rather have Danny. Granger and his game are much more mature than Gay, and I fear that Gay's attitude problems come into play when he doesn't have it going. Danny can also contribute defensively, which means he can still contribute if his shot isn't falling.
