OT: Something that could increase activity.

I'm not sure that it would increase activity, but it was always a fun little thing on the old board I used to post on, Grang33r may remember this.

We had a 'Pacers Poster of the Month' award. At the end of each month there would be a thread up with all names of the Pacers posters(frequent posters anyway). It would be a poll, people didn't usually vote for themselves so it was always fun. Whoever won would receive a little signature saying "Pacers March Poster of the Month" or something like that to put in their sig.

I'm not sure how PP, Count, and Scoot would feel about it here since I could see it being something that may hurt someone who is sensitives feelings if they didn't win. But it was all in good fun, added a little something extra to our board. Anyway, just something to think about.

EDIT: I realize I put "Post of the Month" originally, I edited now, but if you read it before I did I don't want to confuse ya.

I do remember. On the board we used to post on before we knew of this place, that was a very popular award. It didn't really show too much but it was fun and we kept saying quality instead of quantity. It made people who don't post too often to post more and that award believe it or not, made our forum more active.

We'll take it into consideration, but for some of you guys who weren't around near the end of last season, we do have "The Reggies", essentially a year long award for many different categories voted on by the board members.

Yeah i joined in May during the NBA Finals. I didn't vote and i wasn't part of that, but did see a thread. I looked at it real quick but not in depth cuz i was just a newbie. Can't wait, maybe i'll win something here? lol i won a few awards on BBF. As did DGrangerX. lol
