I like the Flip signing. Our bench play becomes unwatchable when Diener sits for long periods of time. The offense becomes stagnant and Quisy can only score one way: Getting deep into the paint. He doesn't draw fouls very well and often makes bad playmaking decisions w/ the ball.

Flip can score or be a playmaker. I prefer him to do what he's always done, and that's be a scorer first, then use the extra attention he gets to dish off to Kareem and Co.

The only question I have is will the PA play "Game Over!" whenever Murray scores...

couldn't put it better
Rest in Peace, Pacerfan

Somewhere in his subterranean lair beneath the fetid streets of Detroit, Joe Dumars is laughing maniacally as his fiendish plan--to unleash Flip Murray on the Pacers and thwart their efforts to get a high draft pick--hits paydirt.

OK, maybe that is a bit of a stretch.

Murrays' a decent enough player. I honestly think he'd be best suited on a team like Cleveland or the Lakers where he could be an instant offense type on a team with a superstar player.

For Indiana he could be a good fit if the team really looks to rebuild this offseason.

Greenway is far from a troll. One of the regulars on here. And maybe his joke was in poor taste but still, can you blame him? Everyone is getting in trouble nowadays. We are the jailPacers. It's sad but true.

Clipper fan here.

Such is the luck of the Clippers. Even when we're on the verge of signing someone that, from the responses in here, the Pacers don't really need, we still can't pull it off.

lol

There isn't too many teams in the league i can say with a stright face i think Indiana is better then, but the Clippers are one of them. Although, i do love Al Thornton. I think he'll be a great player.

Now who they want? Flip! Flip! Flip! Flip!

Great signing for the team! Although I'd like to get Eric Gordon in the draft, I do like Flip's combo guard skills. We really need a scoring PG in there w/ the likes of Junior and Danger.

Now that we have Flip, Travis, and a top 20 pick in the draft (possibly higher if we make some moves), can we now trade Tinsley for whatever we can get? I like the guy, and I've supported him his entire career in Indy, but I'm convinced that we need a shooting/scoring PG rather than a passing/penetrating PG for Obie's offense. We're gonna basically live and die by the 3 while Obie's here, and I'd rather go into battle w/ another marksmen rather than a H2H specialist...
