Season Finale Against Knicks

Post#1 » by APerna » Thu Apr 17, 2008 12:56 am

I had every intention of making a nice game thread for the finale, but I crapped out...my fault...

But it's the third quarter and we are looking to go out with a bang. I thought I was going to flip between the Yankee/Red Sox game and the finale (hoping it'd be on my local MSG channel), but the Rangers are on instead. Boo!

I'd like to end the season with a win...and possibly score 130+ in the process!

Well this looks like an all out offensive by both teams. I really think we need to improve our perimeter D next season. And good to see Freddy J having a good game.

This is one of those games where a win would be a nice way to end the season.

A loss and if the nets beat the celtics then we will finish behind the Nets and be picking at 10 instead of 11.

Pacers and NJ???

Post#4 » by IndyDave02 » Thu Apr 17, 2008 1:13 am

It looks like the Pacers will win tonight. However, if the Pacers were to lose in the 4th Qtr and the Nets win against Boston's 2nd string, wouldn't we jump to the 10th spot. We would have the same record and split the season series but NJ has a better record against the Conference. Thoughts?

By the way why hasn't JO played since Q1. Please don't tell me he is injured.

On another note, Mikey D looks like having one of those 36 point games again.

well this is make or break for Mikey. I think Obie will take him out of the game after his next FG. Will it be a 3pt shot for 37 points or a 2pt FG for 36 points?

Well Mikey ties his career high yet again with 36 and on 12 of 19 shooting with 7rb and 6dimes.

Troy a nice double double with 19 and 12 to go along along with seven dimes just for good measure

Danny solid as ever with 26pts and 6 rbs

Harrison did well too.

And Larry Brown, Reggie Miller, Rik Smits, Dale Davis, Derrick McKeie, and Travist Best are turning over in their couches.

I was there with my buddy and it was by far the best crowd of the season. Dunleavy went bananas against the Knickerbockers again for 36 and the celebration after the game was really cool. My buddy even got a pretty nice souvenir from Mr. Graham.

to bad if we had won one more game we would have been in the playoffs... that's how lame this season is and how bad the east is...
