Dallas has nothing I want. they traded all the good pieces they were willing to move to Jersey to get Kidd. we can't take Howard. no way. with all the image problems we've had, taking on someone else's pot head is absolutely wrong.

I'm a Mavs fan from Dallas and if I were you guys I wouldn't want Josh Howard either.
Howard isn't the player he once was, and not because he is an admitted pot smoker (so what, to me, its the same as if someone said they were an admitted drinker, it depends on when you do it and how much).
Howard played for a contract last year. He's a contract whore. He's not exactly the star everyone thinks he is in Dallas. Most of his game is set up by Dirk. Without Dirk, he's at best a 10-5 guy.

wow............

In the 4 games Dirk missed at the end of the year, Howard put up 30.8 pts and 7.3 rebs a game on 45.1% shooting with 5 total turnovers.

DAL- JO/blount/daniels
IND- marion/dampier/bass
MIA- howard/terry/stackhouse
after this we'd deal tinsley/ike away
wow, one of the few O'Neal deal i actually like. I love Brandon Bass. And i don't like Dampier but in the east he would be a force to contend with.
btw, welcome back bravesatl! Havn't seen ya here in a while. How ya been?

PF- dirk / ???
SF- ??? / george
SG- ??? / daniels
PG- kidd / lue

One of the best JO deals I have seen. I think Dallas may need a wingman instead of Blount though. A few changes should be made, but a very solid deal all the way around, just needs a little tweaking.

For the money, I'd rather have Dunleavy at 8 million than Marion at 18 million.
I'm not interested in any JO trades right now, unless we get offered something really good. In reality though, we will probably continue to get low ball offers and I want to see if JO can build up his value a little bit next season when he is (supposedly) healthy.

You use JO at backup PF start George and Daniels go get about 5 ro 6 min contract free agents, Pacers might be willing to add in Ike to the mix. Dallas would be at least as good as they were this yr.
