So I just tried a shot at the trade machine in attempt to search for possible deals with JO. Does anyone else think that this is a losing battle? I just don't see a team giving up that much, or us taking back just crap salaries. I actually would like to see JO traded because I think he, like Tinsley, needs a change of scenery and it is for the best for him and our organization. I would offer JO along with my soul as trade bait, but I still don't think that would be enough for an opposing owner/GM. Although buying someone's soul does sound like something Mark Cuban might try to do.

No player is untradeable not even JO. If your willing to take salary, now if we stick to our guns and refuse any deals longer than 2 yrs we may just keep JO into the season. If he gets back to near his old form say 18 pts 8 rbs 2 blks our phone will be ringing.

I'd say there is a deal to be had right now but it might not be what we really want or need. I think Chicago would do Hughes, Gooden and a 2009 #1 pick. The bulls are saying they're taking Beasley at #1 so they may have some kind of deal with the Heat. To let them take Rose at #2, could the Bulls wind up with Marion? Something like Nocioni, Gooden and ?? for Marion and #2 pick. Then there's NJ, NY and Dallas who all might be looking at JO. Who is willing to risk taking on that contract for 2 season without seeing him play 20 games or so. I have to think we'll start the season with JO on our team.

The Bulls arent saying anything about taking Beasley or Rose. Unreliable outside sources are talking about it. They havent made up their minds, but at the end of the day, I still think they take Rose.
