Also, it is my opinion that JO is a VERY poor leader. He is a much better indian than he is a chief. It is obvious to me that Artest among others was much more responsible for the 61 wins than JO. JO used to be attacking, now he is very, very soft and settles way too much for jumpers. Just my opinion, but I think it would be best for both parties if we parted ways with JO.
I agree with all this. I dont think it makes him a cancer, but you bring up a really good point. I hate seeing these "franchise players" sign max contracts and then demand trades a few years later because the team isnt winning. If you are making max money, you are the leader of your team and you need to shoulder some responsibility. Everyone conveniently forgets this now, but Pierce was asking for a trade from Boston before they traded for Ray Allen and were donated KG. Kobe demanding trade, JO and his trade requests the past few years...I mean, come on. You signed the deal with the team, stick it out. JO hasnt been as self centered as a lot of these guys though, to his credit.
