Honestly, I'd prefer to not play Danny out of position. He is the cornerstone of our franchise now with JO out. Let's give him a defined role and let the supporting guys adapt to him. He can play the four, but it doesnt fit his game all that well. He is a good perimeter defender, lets not take that away by putting him in the post.

I'd tend to agree. I think we need to start managing the team around Danny, rather than managing Danny around the team. Does that mean that I think he's a franchise player? No. It just means that I think we'd be better off pegging him at the three, then filling in the holes from there.
I have no idea what you're talking about, and clearly, neither do you.

it will easily be ford since he will be the only new starter at the beginning of the season, i think mcbob will surprise though, while jack, rush, and hibbert will be in the rotation

TJ Ford for sure, I am also from Toronto and I can tell you this guy is not that injury prone. I like Horford but he almost decapitated TJ on that play, you cant call him injury prone because of that incident.

I think we will be pleasantly surprised by Rush and Hibbert, these are my statistical projections. Im trying to be realistic but optimistic, lm open to suggestions if anyone thinks im way off.

TJ Ford - 16 ppg 8apg 3rpg

Brandon Rush - 11 ppg 4 rpg 3 apg

Roy Hibbert - 9ppg 7 rpg

I dont think those numbers are too far off. I doubt Hibbert reaches 7 boards per game (he was really a below average rebounder in college, considering how big he is), but if he gets enough minutes, it wouldnt surprise me.

I do disagree that TJ Ford isnt injury prone. Regardless of how it happens, anyone who has missed as many games as him over the years has to be injury prone. I do think he isnt nearly as injury prone as JO and Tinsley, and would be surprised if he didnt play 70+ games this year.

Yeah I may have reached on Hibbert's rebounding numbers, the guy is just so big I figured he had to get at least 7 by accident. And yes im assuming that will be in 25+ minutes a night, the way Larry and Jim talk about him makes me think he is going to get alot of minutes.

I still think you have the wrong idea about TJ, we are not talking about a guy that is constantly getting nagging injuries or is playing on a bad knee, he had 1 major injury and then the Horford incident. Like I said before if Al Horford took your head off and gave you a concussion and you missed time are you injury prone? Excuse TJ Ford for not having a skull made of steel.

Before the Horford incident TJ had played in every game that year and average 74 games per season since his major injury, I expect at least that this year.

TJ Ford hadn't played every game that year before the Horford injury, he missed time with a stinger he suffered in Dallas when him and Josh Howard stumbled over each other. The Horford injury happened when he was finally TJ again, having his best game of the season.

Oh thats right, I totally forgot about that incident.

Still I am not overly concerned about his durability.

I'd say TJ Ford
Rasho's second.
Rasho played really well last season with the Raps, notably at the latter part of the season.
i even picked him in my fantasy team.=)
