Not a shock, but good for him. He should do well off the bench with a guy like Elton Brand in the middle for him. He'll help them.

Good pickup by the Sixers, best of luck Kareem! Hopefully you taught your brother well. :-)

Congrats to Kareem. He was pretty madding in terms of how inconsistent he was, but when he got it going he could really light the scoreboard up. For a guy who was signed for the minimum he did produce very well tho

Yeah, I think I said that in another thread. His shooting will be huge for them. Good for Kareem, I hope he does well there.

hope he gets a multi-year contract with the Sixers, he deserves it.
Wherever he goes, he'll be a great help off the bench.
I'd love to see him play for the Pacers again, maybe someday, playing alongside Brandon.

i'd say his primary strength is his ability to shoot the 3; his primary weakness is consistency.

i would say he has the size and quickness, but has not yet showed the focus or desire to become consistent on d.

No, his defense is terrible, he will get hot and make shots but dont count on him for much else. Still at the right price he is a good signing.

Good luck in Philly Kareem!

I completely disagree with that. He is not Bruce Bowen, but his defense was average overall. He won't get steals or blocks, but he will do an ok job at contesting shots.

When Kareem is on the court he will fire shots up. When he is on he is great, when he is cold there isn't much use for him. He is a pretty big wildcard and his jumper will determine how much time he gets.

Sixers fan here. As long as he's respectable on defense and puts forth the effort he should be fine here.

I think he'll fit this team great and be a legit 3 pt threat, in your honest opinion, can he play SF?

I'm sure he could, but he is tailor-made for the SG position.

I think if you place him at SF he's not going to be comfortable. As cdash said, he's definitely more suited to be a SG. I just believe he would struggle to guard bigger SFs and get his shot off against them.

I agree that he'll fit in nicely off the bench as a SG. With all the other options the Sixers have, he's gonna get some nice open looks and he can knock 'em down. I'm happy for Kareem.
