I'm a pretty loyal EA Sports fan ever since NBA Live '95. I will never forgive 2K sports for getting the exclusive rights to MLB games. Those last few MVP Baseball games were outstanding. 2K sucks big hairy ones.

Man, there surely are a number of reasons to be excited!
First off, it might be Granger's all-star year, and this would be the start of the Danny Granger era in Indiana.
Second, this can also be TJ's much awaited breakthrough year.
Third, Brandon Rush. He has to prove to everyone why Larry chose him over Bayless.
Fourth, TJ Ford and Jack playing together. That would be fun to watch!

I am excited to see Ford's ability to break a defense down and kick the ball out to Dunleavy, Rush and Granger. I think our offense should be a thing of beauty.

There's a bunch of articles on it on the web. Just google it.

It's only a matter of time before EA makes the right offer because we all know if EA wants to buy something, nothing is going to stop them. They already got College Hoops and they're changing their March Madness to NCAA since it's gonna be the only College Bball game on the market. I know you remember couple years back they bought the NFL licenses exclusively and NFL 2k5 (as amazing as it was) was the last one. So it's not like they're going to just stop, but be taken over. Got it dude?

I'm not sure how they do ratings. I'm stuck on NBA 2K7 for PS2, and I've got Ford at about 83 I think. However he does have All-Star potential in point guard-challenged East, provided he plays enough minutes. 12 & 6 aren't bad numbers for a full-time starting point guard. When you consider Ford gave Toronto that in 23 minutes a night, you get an idea of just how productive of a player he truly is.

Some people on this board feel like M Dunleavy is expendable because of duplication with Granger and Rush at SG and SF. With OB's running offense, we will always need one of them on the bench catching his breath..and we'll be able to keep fresh legs onthe floor throughout the long season. Having three explosive scorers is perfect for those two positions. We have two high quality point guards to rotate and rest, in addition to Denier. We have three centers to rotate in Foster, Rasho and Hibbert. Our only stress point is PF where Troy Murphy will get little rest unless Maseo can blossom into a quick explosive power forward for us. I'm excited...we should be able to play defense, rest players with our depth, and we've already proven our core players in OB's system can be one of the top scording teams in the NBA. Go Pacers!!

1. The story being something other than JO and JT being injured.

2. Not having to watch JT.

3. Jeff Foster.

4. Seeing how Troy Murphy adapts to JO's system, year two.

5.. TJ Ford and Rush.

6. Seeing Dunleavy and Granger build off of very good seasons.

Have season tickets for the Blazers, but am definitely buying league pass to watch my Pacers.

I'd trade Dunleavy for a comparably talented power forward, but otherwise, I've come around to this point of view. I like Dunleavy's game and think he will be a good player for us for the duration of his contract, whether as a starter or the sixth man.

For now, he should probably start, because I don't think Rush is going to be ready right away. But hopefully Rush will be good enough to start at two guard before too long, and if that happens we will have a really nice rotation at the wings with Granger/Dunleavy/Rush.

Everything said about Dunleavy is right. The thing is though, outside of Granger I think he is our best trade asset. I wonder if LB has one more trick up his sleeve and can get us a PF who is rugged , decent in the paint, etc.

i totally agree on the Dunleavy situation. last season was his best so far, and i really see him as a very very good complement to Granger. I think he'll be here til his current contract expires, but should a trade involving him would happen, i won't be surprised coz he's got a good trade value and we're sure to get someone very helpful in return. I just hope, if ever Dunleavy's gotta go, that Brandon Rush is ready to take on his role as a starter. But til that happens, we'll be watching the Granger-Dunleavy show in Indiana.
