This is going to be the tenth in our series of projections and discussions about all of our players this year. Essentially, we'll go through all 15 Pacers (I'm excluding Droopy) and talk about our expectations. Each poster will cut and paste form below and fill it out, adding their reasoning at the bottom. The reasoning is the most important, as it will help the conversation.
The first five guys will go up today, and they will be the fringe players. Then will come the rotational players, then we'll get to our key players. If you're looking to do a little research on the guys, I'd suggest BBR as the best statistical site.
So, here we start with:
Brandon Rush
Games Played:
Games Lost To Injury:
DNP-CD's:
Minutes per Game:
Points per Game:
Rebounds per Game:
Assists per Game:
FG%:
3FG%:
FT%:
Other Key Stats (can be Steals, Blocks, TO's, A/TO ratio, etc.)
Reasoning/Synopsis: Describe why you think this player will provide these numbers. What will his role be? What's his best-case? What's his worst-case?
Lets get started.

I think early in the season, Dunleavy and Daniels will be be ahead of him on the depth chart and he will see limited playing time. But at some point his time will come, and he will do well enough to stick in the regular rotation.

mizzou...what do you think his post all-star break numbers will look like?

Re: What Will They Do? (#10 Brandon Rush)
Being optimistic... 25 minutes, 10 points, 2-3 assists, good defense
For comparison, when Granger was a rookie, he averaged 7.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 22.6 minutes per game. But I don't think he faced as much competition for playing time as Rush is likely to face.
My numbers for Rush aren't eye-popping, but if he really does put up those numbers next season, then we should probably consider it a good rookie season.

I was just kind of going off of your comment about him finding it tough to get minutes early.
Danny, as you noted, probably would've had stiffer competition had Ron Artest not demanded a trade. Prior to Ron's request, Danny had averaged 3.6 pts & 2.9 rebs in 15 minutes a night. After Ron was banished from the team, Danny averaged 8.5 pts & 5.4 rebs in just under 25 minutes. That closely parallels his post All-Star break 8.8/5.3/24.8.
I am hopeful that Brandon's post All-Star break numbers would show a marked improvement over his pre-All-Star numbers.

I'm starting to think that Quis may be rising to the challenge. if he's really worked on his shooting as has been reported, he'll push Rush to the bench.

I really have no idea with Brandon. We're so stacked at the G/F positions it's hard to see him playing more than 15 or so minutes a night unless he really comes on strong and impresses coach O'Brien, or we make a trade(s) before the start of the season.

I think Brandon Rush will be a major part of the rotation. I am expecting him to have Kareem's role last year, though he can get a little more extra minutes because he can defend. Marquis, whether he stay or not will most likely be behind Brandon in the depth charts.

Brandon is really difficult to judge. It all depends on how much emphasis they give to getting him playing time. Danny and Junior will gobble up most of the minutes at the wings, and a strong performance by Jarrett Jack could eat up some more SG minutes. Add Daniels, Williams, and Graham to the mix, and things get pretty tight. If he shows something, and they commit to him, he could end up splitting time at the 2 with Junior. If not, he could end up with a whole lot of DNP-CD's. I've got him somewhere in between, closer to positive than negative.
