Post#1 » by Miller4ever » Wed Aug 6, 2008 7:30 am

The hoopsaddict.com Floor Burn contest is on. They take the best hustlers from each team and have them duke it out, tournament style with votes. So vote for your favorite garbage man, Feisty here:

the feisty one will clean up this competition like he cleans up the boards!

if only a coach would get it through his head to play him 30+ minutes a night, jeff would be an all-star (maybe?).

does anyone else remember the clips of him dunking from the free throw line? both he and bender could do it back in the day - amazing.

Foster an Allstar if he played 30minutes a night? I love Jeff but that statement is beyond ridiculous, he is no where near an allstar talent. He is a solid back up center, nothing more.

Foster couldnt dunk from the restricted area when he was younger, I demand proof of this foul line dunk.

http://www.memoram.com/Forest_whiteManCanJump.jpg Not his foul line dunk, but this one is more impressive to me anyway.

Jeff doesn't dunk often, but when he does, its usually some crazy dunk.

the jeff foster all-star bid was in jest, but really it is far from ridiculous. given his per-minute production, jeff would put up some impressive numbers. remember, dale davis made the all-star team one year (finally!) - dirty work players are occasionally recognized with a bid (though, obviously, not perennially).

proof that foster used to be able to dunk from the free throw line? sorry - i believe i saw it on the local news one night, many years ago. proof is probably out there - but it's likely buried in the archives...

however... this article recounts the feisty one's achievement (4th paragraph). incidentally, this is a great article that any foster fan should enjoy:

foster crushed his first round opponent, but he isn't doing so well so far in the 2nd round.

put out the word and vote (if you need more incentive... he's up against a piston!)
