NFL Head Coach appears to be pretty sweet. It's kind of overwelming initially just because how deep the front office mode really is, but I'm starting to get the hang of it I guess.

Well, how is it?

I heard the graphics are significantly better.

I used to have a 360 but I sold it for a PS3. The 360 has better games so far, but that isn't going to last much longer as SOCOM Confrontation will be coming out in October. For those of you who haven't played SOCOM it is by far the best game ever created - at least for online play. I say this having played every game you can name, Halo, GRAW, COD, R6V, GOW, and so on.

There is more people on 360 as of now, but with Home and SOCOM coming out soon and with all the 360's breaking I have a feeling PS3 will take over soon. PS3 is still adding updates to make things better, its not with 360 yet, but all the updates are getting it there and by the release of Home PS3 will have a much better menu.

Anyway, for all of you who have PS3's send me a friend invite. PSN = aRmanTi, I seriously have used the name PaCeR for the last 5 years on SOCOM then someone stole the PSN from me to piss me off, they don't even play on it.

as microsoft stated all 360 manufactored after a set date will recieve free repairs that are caused by normal use or defects. Not oo mention there have not been any issues in a long time. also xbox live will be coming out with xbox live 2.0 a huge update with lots of goodies. Im at work and cant access the articel. But one cool thing is if you are a netflix member you can downlaod and watch movies on your xbox free of charge. also they are going to have weekly episdoes of games shows. But the twist is the players are xbox live members. the crowd watching are xbox live members. The example they used was 1 vs 100 where an xbox live memeber will be invited to to the game show and be able to when microsoft points and gamer points. the 100 will have the same benifits. also they are added avatars that with your gamer not microsoft but gamer points that you earn. you can use to buy your avatar cloths accesories etc. also instead of having a private chat with one friend you will be able to have a private chat room with up to 16 people at once. tons of other stuff too that is just going to make it that much better than sony. also reports have been seen that sonys' game division may be selling out to ea. which i dread but ps3 has lost sooooo much money thats a major possibility.

1. Freezing issues occur. A patch is coming for 360, ps3 already has the patch.
2. Skip the madden test. The test is too easy, and the difficulty will be way too high.
3. The game is fun. Not as good as all pro 2k8, but fun.
4. Fatigue is screwed up. Not enough fatigue.
5. Franchise progression is screwed up.
6. CPU will often punt on 3rd down, and screw up time management.

Otherwise, a lot of fun.

I would just assume piss on my 360 as opposed to buying another one. I will say, the free online play of the PS3 is enticing. I am tired of beating 12 year old girls online in Mario Kart Wii. Its just such a pain in the butt to send my stupid XBox in to those jeriatrics at Microsoft so they can fix something that quite frankly shouldnt be a problem. By the way, does anyone know where I send it and all that stuff?

Greenway84

I have been a fan of 2K since like 0'3. To me 2K was always more realsitic, while Live was like an arcade game. I heard that Live 09 is supposed to be bettter, but I like 2k.

Darnit you guys, I can't decide on the system. Now I think Im flipping back to PS3, but I believe someone said the dont have Madden 09 in HD 1080i for PS3

true?

Correct, I believe it's in 720p.

Madden 10? (that sounds weird) should be in 1080i though.

I think last year was a step in the right direction, but the gameplay is no longer as arcadey as it has been the past few seasons. Players no longer look and move like chiseled superhero's and actually play real to life. Tackling is a lot crisper. Seems like there are a lot more big hits. My offensive line with the Colts has been pretty shaky. I get sacked like 3 times a game, so I start to feel like David Carr sometimes. Looks as good as any football game has looked.

The My Madden thing is kind of worthless as mentioned earlier. Gameplay doesn't coincide with the tests.

Personally, absolutely not. To me, HD is HD.

A week, but it's painful with the new Madden burning a hole in my carpet as it remains in the wrapping.

PacersRule07, I couldn't send you a reply PM. So I will just post it in here.

If you want to create a play, and use it in Madden, I believe you have to have Head Coach 09. What you do is create the play then upload it onto Madden. I haven't exactly done it yet, but if you need me to I can try to do so when I get home from work today. I do have both games, so I can layout what to do step by step if you need me to. However, it will be after 5 PM Indianapolis time.

My 360 crapped out a few days ago, perfect f'n timing. I can turn it on, it's not the red lights of death, but nothing comes on my television. I can hear the sound effects but that's it. They want $100 to fix it, because it's past warranty.

Microsoft = Satan

I've yet to have a problem with my Wii, by the way. While in less than two years, my 360 has crapped out twice.

I usually play on HD and moved my system to a non-HD tv and it took me a really long time to figure out that there is a switch to move from HD and non-HD. I didn't realize this obviously and I am sure this isn't the problem. But there is a switch that isn't noticable. It is the cord that plugs in the audio and visual and is where you plug it into the 360 (I know, I use very complicating words. Can't really describe it too well). Anyways, good luck.

Has anyone else had issues with the gameplay being really "twitchie" at times for the PS3? I have had 09 for about a week now and it has only done this twice but it is beyond terrible when it happens. The game starts to lag big time and just starts sticking for a second at a time like it's trying to catch up to what's going on.
