Actually, both uses are accepted. From dictionary.com:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/myriad

Usage Note: Throughout most of its history in English myriad was used as a noun, as in a myriad of men. In the 19th century it began to be used in poetry as an adjective, as in myriad men. Both usages in English are acceptable, as in Samuel Taylor Coleridge's "Myriad myriads of lives." This poetic, adjectival use became so well entrenched generally that many people came to consider it as the only correct use. In fact, both uses in English are parallel with those of the original ancient Greek. The Greek word mūrias, from which myriad derives, could be used as either a noun or an adjective, but the noun mūrias was used in general prose and in mathematics while the adjective mūrias was used only in poetry.

My syblings incessantly correct grammar and language. Growing up like that did not prevent me from having flaws in my vocabulary and grammar, but it did cause me to know bizarre little factoids like this.

No, I do not have a life. :dontknow:
I have no idea what you're talking about, and clearly, neither do you.

Now if you boys dont mind getting back to the topic at hand. I found this post from a user on the indyastar.com

An update of the jerseys available has occurred on the pacers.com website for the gift shop this afternoon. The surprising addition to the list is #32 McRoberts. Apparently he must be considered more highly than previously thought. Actually, McRoberts was present at the season ticket renewal party at Larry Bird's Eagle Ranch and was very interactive with the crowd.

Still no Tinsley jerseys, obviously, but also still no Nesterovic jerseys, either. If 10 letters are too many for the back of our jerseys, that must be why in recent years we let the similarly lengthy monikered Peja Stojakovic and Sarunas Jasikevicius go on to other destinations.

That makes 14 contract players with available jerseys. The two left off are the much-maligned JT and the best expiring contract player available that we probably would be willing to trade in Rasho Nesterovic.

This is in the same realm in which I posted a thread about no pictures of certain players on the site.

I would be surprised if there is not an auction, of sorts, being conducted with nearly every franchise in the NBA. "AVAILABLE -- solid PG with some injuries/baggage PLUS the added bonus of nearly a starting C with an exciting BONUS expiring contract! Free up your future cap space with our low risk European player who is likely to go to Europe to finish out his career like other NBA players are strongly considering! This auction ends mid September when Mr. Nesterovic is permitted to be traded again under league rules! Please contact Larry Bird for player details or David Morway for contractual details and franchise approval of any proposed transactions."

I suspect that nearly any offer that falls within the acceptable guidelines of the Collective Bargaining Agreement will be strongly considered, and that ultimately Chris Mullin will help us out again, thereby completing the transfer of our problems to the Warriors while enabling us to use some of our old #3 Harrington jerseys (if he can talk Murphy into changing numbers).

This is a legit concept that for some reason I never considered. Very plausible. Thoughts?

You are reading way too much into this. When Rasho went to Toronto he had to change his jersey number from #8 because Jose Calderon already had it. He went to #12. Now that he is joining the Pacers, he can't be #12, so he had to decide to switch back to #8. It has just taken time.

Rasho spends every summer in Europe and for the past 5 summers he has played with his national team. Once that was over this summer, he has taken time off. He has a nine-month old son and is enjoying spending time with him and family and friends. He will be in Indy before camp starts to get settled in and will be ready to go. He has always worked out in Europe in the summer and come to camp very ready. There is nothng suspicious about any of this.

Yup. It's not like he lives in Grand Rapids and could just fly in for a meet and greet. He lives in Europe and flying in is a pretty severe undertaking, especially when he's been busy almost all summer and is now spending time with his family and young child, something he cannot do at all over the entire season, except possibly over the all-star break (if the break is long enough).

He'll most likely be here shortly before training camp and be a full member of the team. He might be in the midst of being shopped as incentive for a Tinsley deal by management, but I think that possibility has no impact at all on why he hasn't been introduced to the local media/fans.
