He also mentioned that he will sign a five year contract extension with the Pacers worth between US$ 50 million to US$ 70 million

This article was put out today and this was a direct quote from Danny.

I think it's a formality and Danny and Bird know it will be done, they are just trying to make some other moves first

It was frm the corn rows guy who writes a blog on Pacers.com He said that is what Danny told him directly!

It's probably true, but like Count55 said...that's a broad range.

My nephew could "predict" that Danny will say for $50M-$70M and he's two.

Exactly nothing real new here, except for a the 50m could be for 4 seasons, the 70m could be for 6, i'm not looking that much into it.

i understand, but I guess the thing I liked or got out of it was that Danny told the writer it's a mere formailty that he will sign with Pacers
