Indiana Pacers point guard T.J. Ford will team up with IPS School 99 on Tuesday, Sept. 16, for a pep talk and Ford will also make a donation to the school to create a uniform closet for those students in need.
From 1:30 to 2:00 p.m., Ford and IPS Superintendent Dr. Eugene White will meet with students in the school’s gym. Ford will speak with the students about teamwork, school pride, hard work and treating others with respect while emphasizing the importance of working together for school and student success on the ISTEP test

It's nice to here about players helping out overseas (Granger). With the Pacers organization(McRoberts). Down south in NO (Bender). And here in Indy now with Ford. So much better headlines than Rape, Drugs, Guns, Speeding, Fights, Car chases, Theft, the list could go on and on. Looks like we really are turning this ship around.
