We do have a trade proposal thread... Pretty sure that this should go there, instead of a separate thread of its own...

Wow, this thread just got interesting. We're supposed to be igniting the passion guys, not each other.

Why would Milwaukee trade a guy that they just traded for? I dont know if your aware that Scott Skilles is now the coach in Milwaukee, he is pretty much the last guy in the league that would want Tinsley.

We just traded for rasho, baston, mcbob. and yet you see plenty of trade rumors, ideas about those guys. all i kept hearing around our board that we were probably just waiting till sept so we could include one of the players we traded for with tinsley. so is that not the same thing.

Yeah, I don't see this happening even though it's a decent match under the CBA.

The only player the Bucks might give up for Tinsley is Gadzuric but yeah the Bucks don´t really need Jamaal :-?

Gadz for Tinsley Straight up? I'm in. Hell he has to be better than Baston and McRoberts, and he sure as hell is better than Tinsley sitting at home or us paying him to play somewhere else.(which i will despise) Not that I think we would.

He's definitely not better than Baston. Maybe McRoberts.

However, I'd gladly trade Tinsley straight up for Gadzuric.

Check the minutes per game. Gadzuric is barely a rotational player, if he even is one. Baston, you may have forgotten, is a useful player and is solid as a 2nd or 3rd big off the bench. Also, if you're just quoting stats, you're likely not going to get far with me. Stats don't tell the whole story.

oh i agree. you can run through my posts and thats honestly probably the 2nd maybe 1st time i qouted stats. but if you want to just argue each others opinion than my opinion is gadz is better. and baston is a rotational player at best. IMO. Gadz size and age alone is better than baston. then throw in stats and gadz look better on paper too.

But the stats actually show Baston as the better player. Factor in the amount of minutes play, and Baston actually produces more on a per-minute basis.

Gadzuric is only 18 months younger, and about an inch and a half taller. I simply see Baston as a better player on a better contract. I think if we traded Tinsley for Gadzuric, that we'd then let Gadzuric battle Hibbert for the 3rd center minutes while we use Rasho as trade bait to get a different player.

There is a big difference though, those players were more filler in the deal, the main reasons we did the deal was for TJ Ford and the draft pick. Milwaukee did that deal to get Ridnour and Ridnour alone there is no way they would ship him out at this point in time.
