Nope...Williams is a slasher with a decent shot a and a good move to the basket. He's a SF who can play PF, but he's a little out of position there. Austin is a shooter with a good shot and a decent move to the basket. He's a PF who more than likely wouldn't get any minutes at SF. I might say yes if we had 3 PF's on the team, but considering how nobody's really sold on Williams as a PF and Croshere could possibly start there, I'm thinking it was more to fill a position need and the fact that Bird loves him had more than a little to do with it as well.

I'd love to have Austin back on this team--quality guy, and will do the little things to help win. Nice shot, better rebounder and slasher than many think, and as automatic as Reggie at the line. Always thought he ended up being underrated after expectations being too high initially, and what bad can you say about a guy who will play with cracked ribs bound up and give 110% despite that?

Couldn't agree more. Croshere is a class act, and a guy that will always give his all no matter what. He used to have confidence problems with his shot, hopefully age and experience has solved that for him. I don't think any of us expect anything big out of him, but he is definitely a guy that can come back to Indy and throw up a big game here and there. Not to mention he is one of the best guys in the league to put on this team as far as PR is concerned. We are going to have one of the most charitable and classy teams in the league this year.

Cro is a nice backup 4 when healthy. Playing him at the 5 was a disaster for us, but that's not Cro's fault.

But the big issue is his back. He was only healthy for a handful of games last season.

Wiretap article has Miami no longer interested in Livingston!!! Could this be because Bird had told "Riles" that he is ready to negotiate the specifics of a Tinsley deal with him?

We could only hope so.

Wasn't it just yesterday that Miami was ready to sign Livingston? Now all of a sudden they're not interested? Strange how a day changes things.

More likely they just realized he's got the knees of a 90-year old woman.
I have no idea what you're talking about, and clearly, neither do you.

A spry 90-year old woman.
