Okay, but there are two ways we could do it:

A. I draw Pacers out of a hat and match them up to a poster randomly

B. I can create a random draft order for all interested, and interested posters can draft their Pacer based on their respective pick.
-------------

Personally, B sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

We don't have to feed the families of the players we sponsor?

Just go the quick, easy way. Draw names out of a hat.

Another Idea I'm considering is a Pacers' Prospect of the Month and overall draft center where we can discuss some young guys we like for the Pacers.

We already did that with Brandon Rush, and JarrettJackSG pretty much created a cival war on our forum. LOL

I like the idea of a draft center type of thing. Talking about guys in college that we like for the Pacers. Thats a good idea. The hypothetical, "What would happen if X was on our team instead of Y and Z" is a bad idea. Along the same lines, the "I told you we shouldnt have done X move, or we should have drafted so and so" is a recipe for Pacers Civil War Vol. 2.

This may not apply to now, and I cant really remember what we talked about before the season, but something that might be fun would be to have a thread where everyone makes playoff/record predictions for the Eastern and Western Conferences, and at the end of the season we could see who had the most correct playoff teams and the best order, etc. Perhaps some sort of scoring system could be conjured up. Whoever wins could get a special signature or avatar crowning them as the victor that they could keep up for the summer or however long. Like I said, it doesnt really apply to now, but it could be something fun to do.

I was going to make a thread like a College Watch. Listing like 10-12 potential college prospects for the Pacers. Updating it nightly with average stats and last game type thing. I didn't want to do it too early though as i don't want to jinx the Pacers playoff hopes or anything. haha. Is that what you were thinking about? I was going to update the first post each night and have a discussion on those players and anyone else in that thread.... just an idea i had.

^This is moreso what I was talking about. I was talking about prospects in this year's draft that might entice the Pacers, not current Pacer prospects like Rush and Hibbert. If let's say Stephen Curry has a big game, someone could just talk his night, what they liked didn't like...it doesn't have to be anything real serious, just draft chatter.

Got another one, in addition to Pacer for a poster:

If...WHEN we make the playoffs (or before that), each of us should get the same signature, except with different two Pacers on them (one from the past, one from the present) with their names and the inscribed message: Keep the Legend Alive (or something to that effect).

That way, when we mass-post on the opposing team's board, we look both intimidating and completely dorky at the same time.

But seriously, I think this would be a good idea.
