One game. Looking at the larger body of work, he is suspect. I can't believe how flat the Bobs came out when they had won three straight and were one game out of the final playoff spot. Just bizarre.

Bobcats were obviously flat, but we can't overlook the fact that a Jack/Rush backcourt is leagues better defensively than a Ford/Jack backcourt. I don't think that was the full reason, but Ford can't guard PG's and Jack can't guard SG's, so when you have two very good defenders at the 1 and 2, it makes a difference.

Great point. I actually didn't think about that very much. I love how Rush is coming on here towards the end of the year.

I'll be interested to see what kind of moves Bird makes this offseason. Will he keep Jack and Ford? Will he keep one and lose the other? What direction will we go in the draft? Obviously a power forward who can score in the post would be great, but if Griffin and Hill aren't available, I could see Bird reaching a little bit for someone like DeJuan Blair. He seems like the type of guy Bird would lust over.
