^That could be a good thing. He wasn't trying to force anything and was taking smart shots.

I don't understand why he wasn't given more shots in the Bulls game. I can't argue with the results, but Rush was 5-8.
I was wondering the same thing. It seemed like he barely touched the ball at all in the 2nd half.

I'm saying he didn't even get opportunities to force anything or take smart shots. He just wasn't getting touches.

Rush got passive in the fourth quarter. I thought so, and Mark and Slick even commented on it.
He's definitely coming along, but I wouldn't be surprised if he periodically lets the game go away from him. He's not the most assertive guy in the world.

I have no idea what you're talking about, and clearly, neither do you.

All I can say to that is everyone doesn't have the mentality of Allen Iverson or one of the other guys around the league who feel like every time they touch the ball they should try to score. Add to that, the fact that for about half the season Rush didn't know whether to come or go because of O'Brien's lineup changes and oddly timed substitutions, and I feel like Rush is just about right where one could expect him to be in the progress in his game.

I'm thrilled to death with Rush. He is a little passive, but that's hardly a damning complaint. Hell, Reggie had a tendency to let the game go away from him from time-to-time.
As to O'Brien, I believe that he has wanted all year to give the keys to the kingdom to Brandon, but was waiting for things to finally come together. It has recently, and I think Brandon's success is, at least in part, thanks to the work and heightened expectations that O'Brien has put in and placed on him.
Brandon is a different player than the guy who dropped in the rotation in January. He has a much better grasp of his role and responsibility, and he is being rewarded with the starting job.

Brandon is gonna be a fine player we should be ok now at SG, SF is in great shape with Danny we have 2 PGs, and a Young giant (Hibbert) at C the question mark is PF. Right now Murphy is ok but we have to face it he is not the long term answer at PF and the 2nd question is how is Dunleavy's knee?

Rush has looked like the player the Pacers envisioned when they drafted him these past few weeks. People were down on him just a few short months ago, but he's starting to look like a solid pro, and less like a rookie. I think the Pacers could have a special tandem with him and Granger on the wings.
