Roy Hibbert

Post#1 » by RoyceDa59 » Thu Apr 30, 2009 6:50 pm

Height 7'2
Weight 278 lbs
Age: 22

Rookie stats:

7.1 ppg / 3.5 rpg / 0.7 apg / 1.1 bpg / 47% fg / 66.7% ft / 3.1 PF / 14.4 MPG.

He'd look really good in a Raps jersey right now.

He had a really productive season in only 14 minutes of play for the Pacers, and he's got enormous size and he's still young. Seems like the perfect compliment to a Bosh / Bargs frontcourt. Players of his size typically take longer to develop.

What do you expect from him in the future? How good can he be? What type of stats will he put up in his prime?

True story, most Pacer fans are bitter that we don't have Marcus Banks instead.

Hibbert is pretty much the last thing the Raptors and any other NBA team needs. Id rather take a bag of chips.

Wow. Great insight considering Roy had better stats per 48 minutes in almost every category than Bargnani. I'm not saying Roy's the greatest thing since sliced bread, just that saying nobody wants him is showing a lot of ignorance. The 17th pick of the draft in his first year and you want to say he sucks? He may amount to nothing, but I think it's a little too soon to judge.

Why is this here? We have a good player and don't know why this thread is in the Pacer's board.

WHAT THE?

WHY are we even discussing the fact that Roy may not be good for the Raps?
He is a PACER and we all think he does good for us. End of conversation right there!

The funny part is, Roy Hibbert is the starting Center on a team that did better than the Raptors, without one of our best players might I add, yet he isn't good enough to be on their team.

I don't know which Raptors mod unloaded this thread onto my territory, but if some Raptors fans are going to just come in here and make uneducated remarks, I will send it back.

My vote is lock it or give it back to um. Or I can start a thread about Bargnani and we can say how he is overrated and wouldn't get any minutes for us and then you can move the thread over there.

I vote for chatard's idea. Seriously, forum wars would be schweet...only you know, we couldn't call it forum wars. We need a more subtle name, such as Intense Discussions Between Opposing Teams Fans on a Basketball Forum Contests aka IDBOTFoaBFC.

Thread volleyball? That would be funny, in a horrible-for-the-forums kind of way. This should be on the Raps board if it's a discussion about whether or not they should consider looking at Roy Hibbert.
